Jordi Serra Ruiz (Jordi Serra is a researcher and lecturer at the Open university of Catalonia (UOC) where he coordinates the Information Security area.
He is an active member of CYBERCAT-Center for Cybersecurity Research of Catalonia.
He was the director of the master program in Information Security of UOC 2005-2012, 2015 and 2017.
He is the academic director of the CISCO postgraduate program since 2015. CCNA IT academy.
His main research interests are the Security Information, cybersecurity, malware and forensics.
He is member of KISON (K-ryptography and Information Security for Open Networks) and ECRYPT (European Network of Excellence for Cryptology) research groups, and at this time is working in information forensics, network security and stenographic techniques.
He has scientific publications in conferences and journals.
He is reviewer and program committee in some academic conferences.
He is a Conference Chair of UOC-Con security conference, and was collaborator the NCN security conference.
